Machame Gate to Machame Camp: You will begin your trek from Machame Gate after registrations, following rainforest trails to Machame Camp.

Machame Camp to Shira 2 Camp: Today, you will leave the forest and ascend into the heath zone. Enjoy beautiful views, rocky slopes, and groundsels.
Camp: Shira 2 Camp (12,795 Feet)
Trekking hours: 4-5 Hrs
Shira 2 Camp to Barranco Camp: Your guide will take you to Lava Tower for acclimatization. Then, you will continue your day by taking your route down to Barranco Camp. Enjoy a beautiful view of the Barranco Valley from the camp at the base of Barranco Wall.
Camp: Barranco Camp (13,000 Feet)
Trekking hours: 6-7 Hrs
Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp: Enjoy breathtaking views while scrambling up the Barranco Wall. At the top of the wall, the view is magical. Continue with a steep hike to Karanga Camp.
Camp: Karanga Camp (13,230 Feet)
Trekking hours: 4-5 Hrs
Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp: Barafu is the base camp where you will begin your journey to the summit.
Camp: Barafu Camp (15,330 Feet)
Barafu Camp to Summit / Millennium or Mweka Camp: Celebrate and enjoy your hard work by reaching the very top of KILIMANJARO, the roof of Africa! Take quick pictures, then start to trek down the mountain.
Trekking hours: 8-10 hours to summit; 4-7 hours to Millennium/Mweka Camp.
Finishing the Trek and Departure: Your descent is through the rainforest to Mweka Gate. Enjoy the flowers of Kilimanjaro, birds, and monkeys while saying goodbye to the Afromontane forest. A vehicle will be waiting to take you back into town for a shower and some rest before you transfer to the airport or your next destination.
Destination: Mweka Gate (5,360 Feet)
